last year. Indeed, the distinction between defensive and offensive has become increasingly blurred in recent years.

Today, we present ‘Steganoprague’: a competition that takes place both prior to and during

VB2015

, in which you need to combine both your defensive and offensive skills. Or, rather, both your obfuscation skills and your deobfuscation skills.

The competition consists of two stages. In the first stage, which takes place before the conference and is open now, we ask you to find a clever way to hide a URL inside an image we provide.

The second stage is a “puzzle” which takes place during the conference, in which we ask you to find the URLs hidden by others in the image.

Although you need to be a registered delegate of VB2015 to take part in the competition (and to be eligible to win a prize), you will still be able to try and solve the puzzles even if you are stuck in your small office: we will share the images on our website during the conference.
