IT security, or the lack thereof, affects Internet users around the world, and though many of the issues we face are global, there is a noticeable difference in the threats faced in various countries and regions, as well as in the ways they are dealt with.
It is thus no coincidence that we strive to make the
Virus Bulletin
conference is a truly global event.
At
VB2017
in Madrid, Tyrus Kamau from Euclid Consultancy in Nairobi, Kenya – who is one of the organisers of the annual
AfricaHackOn
event –
spoke about
the state of security in Kenya.
Today, we have uploaded the video of Tyrus’s talk to our
YouTube
channel.
Don’t forget that the
call for papers
for the next VB conference (
Montreal, 3-5 October
) is currently open and will close on 18 March!
