VB2012 last-minute papers announced

Hot topics to be covered at VB conference in Dallas.

For the last six years,

VB

has set aside a section of the VB conference for ‘last-minute’ papers, the idea being that researchers submit proposals for these presentations very close to the conference itself, thus enabling them to cover topics that are as up-to-the-minute as possible.

The programme of last-minute papers for VB2012 in Dallas has just been announced (the abstracts themselves having only been submitted two weeks ago) and we’re pleased with what we have to offer – with topics ranging from the

real

costs of cybercrime, to ransomware, new banking trojans, cleaning up infected domains, industrial espionage in Latin America, and investigations of Russian malware authors:

We hope you’ll agree that the selection of last-minute papers both complement and enhance the rest of the conference programme – the full schedule can be found

here

.

VB2012 runs from 26 to 28 September in Dallas, TX, USA.

Registration is still open

, so why not join us for what promises to be an exciting event!
