Venerable spam reporting outfit
SpamCop
has had a restraining order granted against it on behalf of alleged spammer OptInRealBig.com.
Scott Richter, the man responsible for OptInRealBig.com, is, of course, ‘not a spammer’, which makes the fairly large collection of data about him on
ROKSO
all the more surprising…
His grievances are mainly due to SpamCop’s policy of hiding the spam-reporter’s email address, thus preventing OptInRealBig.com from being able to comply with the CAN-SPAM act by removing complainants from their mailing lists.
